About Catriona
Welcome to Empower OT!
I'm Catriona Fahey, a CORU-registered Occupational Therapist with over 20 years' experience supporting children, teens, and adults. My background spans community services, early intervention, and education, with a strong focus on neurodiversity, including dyslexia, ADHD, and sensory processing challenges.
I hold a Master’s in Specific Learning Disability (Dyslexia) and have completed extensive training in evidence-based approaches such as Sensory Integration (Cardiff University), Executive Functioning, Dyspraxia, SOS Feeding, and emotional regulation programs like The Decider Training.
At Empower OT, I offer personalised assessments, therapy, and group programs focused on handwriting, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation. I also provide parent training to support development at home.
Highlights of my career include an N-TUTORR grant to co-design a self-regulation framework with students, an Anne Beckett Award nomination, and presenting at the 2024 AOTI Conference.
I’m passionate about helping each individual reach their potential through practical, strengths-based support.
